June 2, 2023Ron was a big brother to us. He lived with our family while doing his post school studies. Keith and I looked up to him. We loved his sense of humour and the way he’d go out of his way to entertain us. The last of the Bunn siblings he’ll receive a right royal family welcome while we will miss him. Our deepest sympathy to Faye, Kaye, Lynne and Kim. and all the family. Eleanor and Noel, Keith and Harumi.
June 4, 2023During my time at Morwell Tech School in the sixties, I look back and recall the great teachers we had although as students did not realise it they were shaping our future, Ron Bunn was for me the standout teacher, he made science and Maths interesting, I thank you for being a role model for me, may you Rest In Peace and express my deepest sympathy to your families .
June 5, 2023I remember Ron fondly from my days at Morwell Tech. Always a calm presence and a welcoming smile in that little office that he shared with the timetabling board. . May he rest in peace.
June 14, 2023I know it’s 12 months too late as only heard today of Ron’s death. A grandson of pioneers in the north east, especially Bright, I only met Ron in his later years while we both worked on our family history. He was interested and engaged and a lovely man to talk with. I’m truly sorry we lost touch. Yvonne Preston (nee Bunn)
