Such a troubled life you believed you lived; thankfully, you always found happiness tending to your beautiful garden.

  2. To my mum. You are now at peace with no more pain or heartache. Nobody can hurt you now. I love you and I always will. I know you are happier now that you’re with dad. You can attend to your garden together like you always did and you’re also with your much loved dogs. It’s what you have always wanted and now it’s come true. My kids will be constantly reminded of you and how much you loved them. Rest in peace mum. Love Jo, Ric, Lachie, Molly, cooper and Tanner. Xxx

  5. I can’t believe this day has finally you come and then it hits you like a freight train, I honestly never thought this day would come and now my dearest auntie Martha is gone.

I have very fond memories of going to her house, admiring her teddy Bear collection. Whenever we went to her place for lunch or dinner she would put on a lovely spread and was very warm and welcoming..
I remember the gifts, the laughs and the tummies cakes she would make when birthday s came around.

I will never forget her love and her kindness and how supportive she was when my Dad died.

I remember her sitting with me at the kitchen table , after my Dad died helping me write a meaningful letter to help me say goodbye to Dad when he died .

She was incredibly strong & resilient & kept the remaining Slachter’s together after Dad died.

She may be gone but she will never be forgotten.

You would be so proud of them all. I will never forget the times where me and lachie would play around in your beautiful garden, you would show me your long fish tank and be talking about it endlessly. 11. Dear Aunty Martha, a hard-working, kind, and gentle soul who had a smile for everyone. We as kids always loved a catch up at Nanna’s house where you would sit a watch all us cousins play in the yard, and more recently was such a great friend and companion to my Dad and Nanna. Rest in peace sweet lady.
