Tributes
  1. Great memories of a lovely lady and great friend to the O’Connor family for 50 plus years. Many shared family get togethers, Christmases and summers swimming in the pool and enjoying delicious home baked goodies made by Shirl. Shirl you were a great cook! The first Christmas card we received each Christmas was from Shirl and always timed right to arrive on the1st of December. You will be dearly missed by your family and friends. Rest peacefully. Our heartfelt condolences to Graeme, Debbie and family.

  2. Dear Shirl, I feel my heart skip a beat on the news if your passing , I am blessed and I am privileged to have been able to meet you Shirl … in your golden years, in your sunset years, We stuck up a friendship that was three years short, but boy did we pack a load of conversations in, of gardening, of cooking, and of family, by chance we discovered that we had more in common than we first thought, that we in fact had a familiar sense about us, a familiar stomping ground of country Gippsland, what a wonderful joy swept across your face Shirl, you were like a young girl again, it was like you were back there, I gave you a sense of home that was so far away from you from us both…. We were set, in a comfortable state in each other’s presence…

It was my privilege to have been able to look after your needs, and housekeeping during your time of need, THANKYOU for making my day at work brighter … and THANKYOU for your continued friendship .. such a blessing… and what a laugh we had together at times…

Sending my deepest condolences to all of your family especially Graeme, Deb and your dearest friends

Rest now sweetheart Shirl, you had a big heart ♥️

    Regards,
    Michelle
