I first had the pleasure of meeting Duds on the 17/1/1967 a long time ago my first day of full time work at Hyatt Radiators in Langford street Moe a long time ago. So sad to hear of the passing of Duds after such a lengthy battle. A well-known and loved community member, as well as his huge contribution to the Moe Footy Club’s past junior players, he will sadly be missed by so many.

Our Condolences to the family and friends of a fine man. Dudsy was a great contributor to his local area. He an immense impacted on many young men throughout The Valley. Which will now have a lasting effect on the community. He raised many to position of elevation that they may not have experienced previously. A caring man to all. Uncle Duds, you will live with me forever I will always remember the good times at yours although I always tell my kids it’s your fault I have a bird phobia. You loved those budgies and their flappy wings scared the crap out of me. Will miss our catch ups in the supermarket, I’m sure we just knew when each other would be there. Janet,Brad, David and family. Condolences on the loss of a great husband, dad, in-law /out-law, granddad AND friend. Many an afternoon or two at ours with fire on….. sometimes not…. but drinks and nibbles flowing… as well as stories of the younger years. Even our kid’s loved the visits from Duds and Janet. The stories they heard and the fun we had. Well Duds mate… now it’s time to let them all know up there… the real story. Give em heaps 🤗🤗🤗
