A special final tribute to a worthy, trusted, and loyal friend over many decades. That is how I will remember Paul. I am missing his friendship and his subtle and witty sense of humor already.

My thoughts are with Carol, Jason, Katrina, Nicholas, Nicki, Lauchlan, Cameron, and all of Paul and Carol’s grand-children, who will undoubtedly be feeling a great emptiness at losing Paul, at a time when they were all just beginning to reap the rewards of a lifetime of hard work and dedication to family.

In visits to home and hospital, I never heard one word of complaint from Paul during his lengthy illness. He maintained his sense of humor till the end. I am honored to have known Paul, a true comrade, and a great mate.

Such sad news to hear of Paul’s passing. Such a wonderful work teacher and colleague who taught me through my apprenticeship. Many fun times were had outside of work which I will cherish.
