Sincere condolences to Mick’s Family with his passing.
Mick had the respect of those he worked with and of those he worked for.
Mick’s presence will be keenly missed down on the plate, whether it’s a big shut or as the great man put it “it’s only a little shutty Mick……..what’s taking so long”…………the industry has lost a professional Mechy Supervisor. Kept us Laggers on our toes!
Mick, you amused us when you flipped the Bombers and took up with the Doggies. But as you took delight in ticking off flags to the Doggies Reserves / AFLW and the Doggies flag in 2016, you let us know you had the last laugh!. It was a big day with you back at camp watching the Doggies win the Flag over the Swans.
I appreciated your phone call in 2017 “Well done Viss, you an your Tigers”. Will miss the after match dissections…….the footy score updates over the two-way were priceless.
So, one last time………”Copy that Mick”.
Vale Mick, from past and present colleges at Transfield / TWS and Monadelphous…..from Altona to Karratha
