So sad Nick, Phil, John, Lena and Philomena to hear you have lost your brother Lui. My deepest condolences. As a neighbour in Erica many years ago, I found him always gracious – part of a beautiful family we were privileged to know. May he rest in joyous peace.

Though I do not know you Elsie, Jasmine and MJ – together with Grace and Scott, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to you for your loss of a husband, step father and Dad.

My deepest sympathy to all of Loui’s family. My memories are from 40 years ago. You were always a happy person l can still see you at the discos at Erica dancing and enjoying life.

Lui will be greatly missed. He was forever quick with a broad grin and a warm greeting for everyone. Lui had an infectious energy and humour that made you feel better for the encounter and time spent in his company. I remember being in a tight situation with him on Black Saturday when we needed to decide whether to stay to defend or leave. There was a long pause as everyone in the group thought hard and looked at each other. Lui broke the silence announced it was not worth the risk to stay as his kids and family was too important. What a tribute to him and the value he placed on his closest. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Such fond memories of working with you on the fire ground, we had such great laughs and experiences over the years. Condolences to all your family and friends. You will be missed. xx
