Passed away unexpectedly at Mulgrave Private Hospital on Saturday 6 April 2024. Aged 80 years.

Loving husband of Krystyn.

Former husband of Ena and Susan.

Devoted father of Joanne, David (dec) and Simon.

Loved and respected father in law of Gavin, Lee and Sarah

Loving granddad of Jordan, Toby, and Millie.

Great granddad to Jack and Archer.

It happened so quickly,

it’s hard to understand,

one day you were with us,

The next day in God’s hands.

The Funeral Service and Committal for Cremation of Mr Wayne Ernest James will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Highway, Traralgon on FRIDAY (April 19, 2024) commencing at 10.30am.

  2. Loving father to our son Simon, Wayne and I maintained our friendship although separated by oceans and continents. Many hearts have been broken, robbed of the opportunity to say goodbye, but memories live on. I’m sure he’s fly-fishing with his dad somewhere on some great lake!

  5. I got to know Wayne through project work at the Maryvale site. A very good work colleague with a wealth of knowledge and a good laugh when the chips were down. We always enjoyed a beer and a good laugh together
