Unfortunately she struggled for a period of time, and it eventually got her.
Condolences to Uncle Frank and all the family.
Debbie xxxOur friendship has spanned about 50 years. Our initial involvement related to your dance journey with your adorable little girl Deearne at a very young age. She was something very special exuding a special confidence in all aspects of her dancing. She was always exquisitely dressed thanks to your artistic creativity which eventually was shared by so many. Sandra was extremely proud of Deearne and what she achieved as a dancer and later a teacher. They had an incredibly special mother, daughter relationship during these years. Later Sandra and Jenny were the instigators of the very successful Morwell Festival of Dance over 35 years ago. The Latrobe Valley has an amazing capacity to produce exceptionally talented dancers with an incredible amount of performers going on to enjoy the success of professional work as entertainers, teachers, choreographers etc, both locally, Australia wide and in fact the world.

Sandra was gifted in all aspects of creativity, her card making was extraordinary as was her scrapbooking and oh so many other activities she pursued. Sandra, Robyn and Larayne used to meet every Monday to share artistic skills, loads of laughter and lunch dutifully served by Frank.
Sandra experienced a long list of medical issues throughout the last 40 years and fought the battles like no other. We all said she was like a cat who had 9 lives & even more.
Her absolutely incredible family were always there for her. Matt, Kim and the adored grandchildren, James & Milla took Sandra and Frank to Coffs Harbour with them to live. A fabulous adventure for them, a new and exciting chapter in their lives. So many memories were created. Sandra and Frank have been surrounded by love and support wherever they have been and more recently returned to the valley where they have so many connections. They both sincerely appreciated the depth of care, commitment and dedication shared with Matt and Kim who have cared and supported them selflessly throughout the entire process. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. Theirs was a family that shared everything.
Sandra has been an incredible part of our lives, sharing so many special celebrations.
RIP Sandra we will treasure our memories forever!

April 30, 2024Sandra was a very special lady! We spent every Monday for many years making exquisite celebration cards at your home. It was an absolute highlight of my week going to Sandra’s, meeting Larayne and creating individual designs which were amazing. Frank would serve lunch and we would share everything from the latest craft trends, lots of gossip and so much laughter. We missed you very much when you shifted with your beautiful family to Coffs Harbour but we kept in touch. Your return to the valley was celebrated by us all. Sandra you were such a special friend to me – we shared the highs and lows of life and I will miss you more than I can explain. My thoughts are with Frank and your family as they come to terms with their loss. Your heartbroken friend Robyn – I will treasure the memories!
