  8. My thoughts and deepest sympathy to Tamara & Glen, his precious grandchildren, Melinda, and Johns brothers and sister at this sad time. I was lucky to witness John loving and enjoying his beautiful grandchildren at Mainly Music. Enthusiastically singing along and dancing with them, with a smile on his face , it was clear that they were great loves of his life. A treasured Dad and Opa. I know their hearts with ache for him but will be full of the wonderful moments and memories that he shared with them and they will always speak his name with so much love a gratitude that he was theirs.

All my love to you at this time.

I love you John, and I will always miss you.

    Your loving brother Ronnie.

  12. Having John as an uncle was like winning tattslotto.
He brought so much joy to our lives, even though he was always bossing us around and telling us what to do. We liked to buy him meal vouchers and then invite ourselves out to dinner so he could spend the voucher on us. He was the best company. The most loving, generous and loyal man to his family. We’re finding it hard to adjust to a life where John is no longer here with us. Luckily he has left memories and imprints all over our world and in our hearts.

What we would give to have him boss us around for another day.

  16. Uncle John once asked me to ditch the title and simply call him John. A strange request that felt strange to say when greeting him. Uncle’s are people you look up to as role models, that show their Nieces and Nephews the qualities of loyalty, kind-heartedness and wisdom along with countless others. He demonstrated these qualities his whole life, certainly during the part that i was lucky enough to know him for.
So for that, i am proud to call you my Uncle, Uncle John.
    Rest peacefully.

    Love, Trent, Hannah and family

  22. John, I cannot begin to find the words to express how much you will be missed, especially by Ian.
Although we have known you all our lives it wasn’t until after the loss of our parents that we got to know just how special you were.
The help and support you provided to both Ian and I was so greatly appreciated. You took Ian bowling every Saturday, took him to the grooves dances and included him in your coffee visits, you so completely took Ian under your wing.
You were the brother he didn’t have.

You will be so incredibly missed by all that knew you.

Our sincere condolence to all the Lieshout family
