May 21, 2024My dear mum
I cannot express enough, how proud I am to have had you as my mother, you always had the answers, I didn’t have.
You always put us kids before yourself.
You done a magnificent job raising 7 children, basically on your own.
You taught me many things, and the things you didn’t know, you tried your best to teach me anyway.I will cherish the 60 years of memories we made along the way, fishing, camping on the beach, travelling to Mollymook for winter holidays, dinners in Melbourne, nights at Moomba and the day time skiing., on the yarra.
Day trip down to the Australian open, for your birthday because you loved the tennis.
Many more memories, but too many to mention. The thing, I will cherish most , is the time I spent with you in your final weeks, taking the opportunity to get you in a wheelchair, then Tracy and i cut laps with you , around the nursing home interior, and external areas.
Then sitting and talking about your past, for an hour out in the sun.
I will never forget you Mum, I will love you forever. The most courageous and Bravest woman I know.
Your loving son and daughter Inlaw Norm & Tracy xoxo
