It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Turner, peacefully at home in Hazelwood South on 9th June 2024.

Aged 77 Years

Dearly loved and loving husband of Sue.

Much loved father and father in law of Ben and Anabela, and Natalie.

Adored PaPa to Mia and Reece, Charlie, Max, and Audrey.

The funeral service and committal for cremation for Mr. Robert Turner will be held at Latrobe valley Funeral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Highway Traralgon on FRIDAY, (June 21st, 2024) commencing at 11.00am.

  4. I had the pleasure of working with Rob when he done a stint in the Safety department at Maryvale . He was my mentor for a time , he taught me paiticence can be a way to get things done. Mate thanks I still use some of you techniques today. RIP Robert . Condolences to your family.

  5. So very sad to hear of Wompy’s passing. Spent many years partnering him in various Victorian junior tennis team championships! Such a great team mate with a coolness and sense of humour like no other! After leaving our teens we, sadly, never got to catch up again but the memories were (and still are) often rekindled! Those days were so precious! Deepest sympathies to all Wompy’s family and may he forever now rest in peace! xx💔🌹

    The Kanavan’s from Pollock Ave were great friends of the Turners especially their mother Madge, as a great tennis player at Cumberland Park tennis club.
    Also Alf, Bill and Alan worked at the APM around Robert for many years. Gone too soon.
