Lots of love, Katie and the Lifestyle TeamHere’s to Mum’s wonderful sister and our Aunty Dot. With her beautiful smile, grace and intelligence, and cheeky humour. Babe remembers her as a truly kind and caring sister. Dot comforted and checked in on her, when Babe was a naive and shy country girl joining the army with her big sister. We will always remember the sisters ( who were oh so alike physically) holding hands as centenarians together, defying the odds , and truly bonded for 2 precious lifetimes.. Her last words to Babe only a week or so ago..”Are you my sister?’ will be treasured always. We love you Dot – rest well with Uncle Eric. Our thoughts extend to all the family. Babe, Kaye and Dianne Thomas and Rob Jolly

Sending our deepest condolences to you all. In our thoughts today at this difficult time. XWhat a great life Mrs Dot Rowley lived.
She and Eric were my parents (John and Norma Hadden) very first supportive near neighbours /dairy farmers at Hazelwood South when we bought our first small dairy farm with 36 cows in 1960.
John came from Coleraine, sheep farming and couldn’t afford to buy in the Western district so Eric and Dot and family took us under their wings in all things farming and socially. The dad’s held “hair cut” evenings every few months right up to the time my father died in 1985. The mum’s were wonderful cooks of sponges, slices and numerous cakes of which my brothers thought these events were Xmas.
On behalf of Norma Hadden and our extended family we send our love and condolences to Barry, Bill and Margaret and your families.
November 1, 2024Our thoughts are with you all at this time.

You took me under your wing in 2014 when I moved in next door and we spent many an hour chatting over cuppas and always an Anzac biscuits…
You were friends to Mum and Dad for over 40 yrs, sharing ideas for gardening, playing cards and being great friends
Many a day I’d find the gate open and you’d let Mali in for a cuddle and a biscuit…She learnt to bark for you to sneak her in, many happy tail wags!!!
I’ve missed having you and Eric next door
Now you are together once more, an amazing life you’ve both had..
Loving thoughts and condolences to the Rowley family
RIP Dot, a gentle caring friend
