  3. We are so sad to read this. Our much loved neighbour for over 25 years often popping over for a cup of tea and a chat, or to ask for help with computer and phone issues.
As our girls grew older they soon became your information source for your technical issues. They gave you some cheek over the years, the smirk on your face was priceless. Cheeky buggers you would say with a smile and a chuckle. Many fond memories over the years. Rest peacefully Jim.

  16. I still have treasured memories of riding my bike out from Traralgon to visit the Hoods at Nambrok; and in later years our visits to the Saturday night dances at Hill End. We had both been interested in Hood Family History in recent times, determining how we were related. Your passing brought back the thrill of the Mormon Trail and the tough early years around Creswick. You and the Hoods will never be forgotten by me.

  23. Jim was a long term client, who became a friend.
Sadly Robena passed away the year we travelled to Canada. But with Roslyn’s blessing, he came alone, and did his best to enjoy it for the both of them. We became each other’s PLUS 1 at dinner most nights. We travelled to many wonderful destinations together over a 10 year period. He was a caring & considerate man who was never short of a story at the dinner table, on the cruises, and on the bus. Along the way he gained some nicknames including: Mr Jim (China), Jimbo (USA), Mr Hood (Europe), and James (Canada).
Jim has taken his final journey, to be with his beloved Robena & Roslyn.
Condolences to Tim & Nicole, and Frank, and all of Jim’s extended family and friends.
