WILSON – Rita Joyce (née Treasure)

Rita was born in Bairnsdale, she lived in Traralgon for 72 years, many of those with her loved and loving husband, Harold Wilson, who died in 1998.

Rita’s family – June and Greg Johnson, Ray and Brenda Wilson, Helen Chambers and Anne and Ian Outhred, her 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren remember her with much love and admiration. Her life was rich and full, her contribution to the local community was generous and self-less.

Much loved mother of June and Greg. Gram and “Lady” of Claire, with Chantelle; Fréya and Stive, with Max; and Fairlie and Dave, with Ada, Ethan and Winter.

“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.”

Loved and loving mother of Helen. Gram and Great Gram of Nathalie and Greg O’Toole, Siȃn and Kendra; Andrew and Sonya Chambers and Jack; Jessica Chambers, Kate and Zoë.

Caring for us all when we needed it most. She showed us beautiful compassionate love, and care which is truly the way and the light.

Loving mother and friend of Anne and Ian.  Gram to Lachlan and Alison Outhred, Lucy and Amelia; Stuart and Diane Outhred, Frances, Ruby and Eve.

Gentle and loving, astute and thoughtful, generous and forgiving.
