Born on March 13, 1931. Passed away December 10, 2020.

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her 4 children at Maryvale Private Hospital on Thursday the 10th of December 2020, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of Ian (dec). Cherished Mum and mother-in law of Jeff and Michele, Paul (dec), Lynda and Jeff, Carol and Anthony, Kaye and Rick. Adored Gran to Rick and Megan, Lauren and Sean, Mitchell, Monique and Stephen, Jack, Olivia, and Elyse.  Loving Great Grandma to Luca, Sofia, Max, Thomas and Jaxon

 

Though her smiles are gone forever,

And her hand we cannot touch,

We shall never lose the memories, 

Of the mum we loved so much.

 

 

Funeral Notice
Due to COVID19 restrictions, the Funeral Service for Mrs Barbara (Joan) Sutherland will be a private funeral, by invitation only. A Service to celebrate Joan's life will be live streamed on Tuesday (December 15th, 2020) commencing at 10:30am.

  4. Joan, dearly loved sister of Bob and sister-in-law of Dorothy.

    Always bright – take a trip to Queensland, 3 in the utility; laughing all the way. Bob driving, sometimes Jeff, in the end Joan gave up it was too much trouble – her solution was, I’m not going to worry I love them both.
    Joan, your love, support and regular phone calls (Bob always knew your voice) especially these past months will be sorely missed.
    You have left a legacy and generosity of spirit in the hearts of your dearest which will be passed on for many Generations to com. Rest in peace, walk the sandy beaches, your pain is gone.
