Passed away at Latrobe Regional Hospital on Saturday, March 27, 2021, aged 83 years. Loved husband of Jan for nearly 60 years. Much loved dad of Tracey and Joe, Karen (dec), Stephen and Denise, Lisa and Claude. Pop to Daniel, Cameron, Brooke, Samantha (dec), Nikki, Adam, Alysha, Ben, Jack, Erin, Libby, Bree, Chloe, Joel and Billie. Loved great grandfather.

Barry, there are simply no words to possibly describe such a wonderful, loyal, endearing friend of over 60 years in a few sentences.
We always considered you Jan and all yours “ family”. The happiest and funniest of times spent whilst our children were growing up.
Jan, such a wonderful friend to Joan (Dec) . Our hearts are broken for you all. Barry you fought such a long and stoic battle, ever one of life’s finest gentlemen. I’m so very saddened that I didn’t get to say goodbye. This is not goodbye my friend, rather “ Until we meet again.Rest in eternal peace now. No More Pain.

It’s hard to think that you’re gone but to know that you’re no longer in pain and finally at peace helps. I’m sad to that I can’t make it to your funeral but I will always remember you as a kind and beautiful human being. I will miss you dearly.

Your painful suffering is finally over. Rest In Peace big brother,

Pop, you made sure to surround yourself with people that you loved and appreciated, you showed me and others the importance of patience and honesty. I will remember the times you spent showing me how things worked, how things were put together. I will always be comforted by the belief that a person that departs from this earth never truly leave.
As you depart from this life to take your final journey, you do this with the knowledge that you will be remembered through those who are left behind.
