DI CIERO – Domenico

Passed away peacefully at Latrobe Regional Hospital on Thursday the 27^th of January 2022, aged 86 years.

Beloved husband of Michela for 68 years.

Adored father and father-in-law of Giovanni and Gina, Pierina and Anthony.

Cherished  Nonno to Domenico, Michele, Daniele, Alessio and Nicholas.

With tears we watched you suffer,

and watched you fade away,

with courage and concern for others,

you fought so hard to stay,

but God saw that you were weary,

and did what He thought best,

he gently took you in His arms,

and whispered come and rest,

We all love you Papa

Papa, after many years together, it is with a heavy heart that we need to say our goodbyes. You will always be in our hearts and minds, never forgotten. With all our love, Giovanni, Gina, Domenico, Michele & Daniele.

My beautiful Papa. You tried so hard to stay with us. You couldn’t go on anymore.  Your concern was always for us, before yourself.  I couldn’t wish for a more generous and loving father. I will miss you coming up the driveway in your Ute; it was my signal to put the coffee on. You were always so happy when we were together. I hope you can rest now, your work is done and you are in the company of your beloved parents, brothers and so many friends. I will love you forever…Pierina x
