Born 16 August 1925 in the Ukraine.
Passed away peacefully in Adelaide on Friday 05 August 2022 with her family by her side, just days before her 97th Birthday.
Cherished Wife of Emil (dec. 1996) and Yakiv (dec. 2021). Devoted Mother of Teresa, Nick and Jeff.
Much adored Grandmother and Great Grandmother to many, and reunited with her favorite sister Veronica (dec.)
Our words are few,

Funeral NoticePlease note: this will be an open casket service.
At the conclusion of the Service the Funeral will leave for the Hazelwood Cemetery, Brodribb Road, Hazelwood North.
Monika’s Service will also be livestreamed from 11am.

What a beautiful lady, that gave so much love and care to everyone she met. You were always welcome in her home, and she was always so happy to see you.. Kevin spent many years standing next to the stove in the kitchen, with welcoming arms around him. Memories we will never forget. We will miss calling in to see you on our visits to Morwell. Still strong memories in my kid’s minds as well. Sorry I cannot be there for the fitting farewell, you so much deserve. Keep dancing beautiful lady.. R.I.P. Mrs Monika was such a beautiful lady, always happy & smiling. She never forgot my childhood birthdays and made me feel very special. Rest in peace Mrs Monika xoOur sincere condolences to all the family. Monika was a lifelong friend to my parents Vera and Julian Kowalinski (both dec.) and I will always cherish the memories and wonderful times spent in her company. Ciocia Nika, you’re forever in my heart. Regrettably unable to attend today due to weather events but will be there in spirit. Sofia and Chad Christensen.
