Pop I’m going to miss you I’ll remember all the good times over the years I’ll remember all the times you made funny jokes and the magic tricks you did you’ll be forever missed love you always your grand daughter Amy 💗

God saw he was getting tired,
And a cure wasn’t meant to be.
So he put his arms around him
And whispered come with me.

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer
And saw him slowly fade away
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay
A golden heart stopped beating yesterday.
And his Hard working hands were put to rest.
God broke our hearts
To prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Even though these are sad times,
We are thankful that you longer have to suffer in pain
And your body and soul can now rest in peace

You will always have a special place in my heart pop.

Pop i got the news last night
That you had gained your wings
And flew away to heaven.
I never got to see you
To say goodbye.

I’m lost for words as for what to say as I’m still in shock and in disbelief that your now somewhere else other than here but I know you would be feeling better now without I hope your with Nana now as I know she would of been here waiting for you to hold your hand to the purly gates of heaven make sure to fill nan in on what’s been happening here and give her many kisses and hugs for me now it’s time for I to say goodbye and I’ll be with you again sometime in the after life later in the future

I’m going to miss all the jokes that you made and all the funny times. These are times that I will cherish and keep close to my heart. Pop we will see eachother again one day I’d hope you were honestly the best grandparent a grandchild could ask for we were very lucky to have such an amazing grandparent/ Hero of ww2.

Pop where do I begin you have taught me a lot while growing up and I’m definitely going to miss our conversations and seeing you wear the biggest smile and hear you laugh and having our phone calls love you pop and I will miss you dearly R.I.P. pop till we meet again

Almost 2 years without you pop, I miss you so much. I wished I wasn’t so stubborn and came to see you more often before you passed away. You fought a tough battle but never really complained. I hope to see you again some day. I love you pop
