Carole my heart goes out to you. Nev was a great friend, always there with a helping hand, right from the first day that we moved from Melbourne to Churchill. How lucky were we to be next door to a lovely family who helped us in so many ways. I am sure that Peter had a beer or two waiting to catch up with Nev once again. It has been a real pleasure caring for Neville over the past couple years since coming into care. He was such a kind and gentle soul.
He certainly has told he’s share of stories over this time and is always so willing to be as independent as possible and help the care staff when he could. Neville was definitely a ray of sunshine that made each day so much brighter with his cheeky smile and thumbs up when we walked into he’s room and said hello. Everyday would give us cheek and we wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Also to Neville’s beautiful wife and family who spent each day by his side, it has been a pleasure getting to know you all and seeing you each day.
RIP Neville fly high my buddy and don’t give them too much cheek up there, you are very sadly missed xoxo
