There is no way to sum up a lifetime of memories in a short way. But I’ll share a few.
I will always hold you as my safe place.
Because of The hugs and kisses that offered so much warmth and acceptance no matter the situation.
The god bless at the end of the day and on every birthday card.
The walks around the garden every visit to pick the beans and strawberries. Never being able to leave without taking something home. Including your soup.
The day you got your Camry at 60 odd and you were a little heavy on the go pedal then laughing about doing a “skid”
The family celebrations and the chicken dance. Followed by Your wise words of “don’t mix your drinks” while we sat on the lawn very intoxicated because we both mixed our drinks.
Your bundle of beliefs traditions and even your superstitions that I find myself at times inserting into my own life.
Your love of music, letting us play the organ as kids which probably made your ears hurt and your harmonica which always brought a smile.
Your love of knitting and your patients fixing up my casting on and off stitch. Some many warm blankets people received.
We will all hold a space for you in our hearts but now you can be reunited with the other half of yours.
Love ya Nan and God bless your Becky xDeepest sympathy to all her family

xxxxTo my darling Auntie Marl , what can I say you have been a huge part of my life in childhood and in my adult years forever missed by me and sending love to all of the family …love always Jill xxx
May 2, 2023I have fond memories of you & Pop bringing out hotdogs, for an early Sunday lunch, or in the early days staying out with us at the farm , after a family party. There was quite a while where the kids & I would come in for grocery shopping mid week to have a cuppa, & to read your catalogues.. you’d always keep them for me!! Rest easy Nan!! xx

I have plenty of early memories of you teaching me ‘Silent night’ on the organ and teaching me all about orchids and gardening in general, fishing and many, many more. Later years the drive out to the farm nearly every weekend just for a visit but we would always end up lighting a fire and cooking a ‘Bush barbie’ (if Pop didnt insist on bringing hotdogs.)
The memories of you will be held very close to my heart Nan, Love ya!
God bless
LeighSue & Ray and extended family,
Time takes away the edge of grief.
But memories will help turn over every leaf. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

(Lafayette Specialist Centre)Nan,
Feeling sad you are gone but also grateful you were here for the time you were and happy knowing you and Pop will be reunited x
God looked around his garden and found an empty space
Then he looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
God’s garden must be beautiful
He only takes the bestLove ya Nan
