Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Victorian Heart Hospital on Friday 12 May 2023. Aged 77 years.

Loving husband of Ann.

Loved father and father-in-law of Jacqueline & Jeff and Andrea.

Loved brother-in-law and uncle, and friend to many.

Funeral Notice
St. Michaels Catholic Church Church Street, TraralgonView Map
Requiem Mass and Committal for Cremation for the repose of the soul of Mr Maxwell Maloney will be offered at St Michaels Catholic Church, Church Street Traralgon on TUESDAY (May 23, 2023) at 11.00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart Foundation would be appreciated, envelopes available at the Church, or donate online at Heart Foundation Website.

    Thank you for your friendship & kindness at LVMRA Moe train club. Max you taught us all how to fix the trains we bought online that would not work and helped us plan our layouts.
    The hours you spent wiring the layouts and you made us laugh.

    So sorry to hear this sad news,Max was a great loved and respected founding member of the Latrobe Valley Model Railway Assoc. The go -to man for all this electrical or electronic, a regular Sherlock Holmes resolving short circuiting disasters. He helped,he gave his time generously and always advocated for everyone to be considered and included at meetings and running their trains. i can imagine Max in Heaven right now with the Lord and Peter,sharing his photos of his beloved home layout.
