Rest Peacefully Uncle Tom. You were so generous with the children and would rejoice in their epic joy each Christmas and Easter as the torrent of paper and foil was shred from gifts. Never missed a family event. My favourite memory was of us all convincing you to run through the sprinklers with the kids and a few kid-like adults one hot Christmas Day at the soccer sheds, in a bet, and your smug but delighted face as you held up your part of the bet. You had just utter joy on your face, right up to and including the moment you came to collect on your winnings. We will miss you deeply Tom.

Rip Tom you Were an inspiration as a coach a man a neighbour and a friend as life went on you were so respected in the community of not only Churchill soccer club but I believe every local soccer club a true gentleman rest now will always be remembered for the gentleman you were and the respect you always showed most sincere condolences to all the sands clan RIP TOm ❤️
