  6. How do you condense a lifetime of memories? Best boss, best friend, best builder, best farmer. Remembering the MSHC days, the Bethesda days, the farm days… Your wise advice and your true friendship.

  7. Sincere condolences to Joy, Heather, Julie, and all the Blairs.

I will miss “Uncle Jim’s” greetings with a grin, chats, and catch-ups at various abodes over many years. Dear family friend of the Picketts, and dear friend especially of my late father Keith Pickett since they met at a college in the late 60s.

Once I took Jim up on a flight in a light aeroplane for a reconnaissance of our parts of the Strzelecki Ranges, which he enjoyed very much. I’m sorry there weren’t more opportunities for aerial escapades such as that. Very recently I was made aware that Jim remained highly adept in the art of escapade.

Vale Jim, you will be greatly missed.

I will miss randomly running into him in the various coffee shops around town always so happy to see me and hear how we are going. I will be ever grateful for his guidance and interest in how we are going. I love you very much Jim thank you xoxo
