It was good working with Rick at our church, and going to youth group nights at the Blakes.. The last time I saw Rick was over Zoom – he gave Karyn a kiss and then gave a smile and a little wave to the camera. It’s sad he was taken so early. Love to all the family from Anne and John

And the years keep coming without you, filled with all there toil and might.

You were a fine father, hold your chin up high.
If I could be half the man you were I would be proud.

There were some hard times, people don’t know you struggled with employment for a season and there was always sons, growing dubious plants around the farm to be destroyed by you.

Remember when you had 3 unemployed sons and you wanted to sell up and open video game arcade, so we could work?

What people really don’t know is the mental health issues which ran in the bloodline causing much suffering to him in his personal life.

The only solace we have is now you are free.
