Tributes
  1. An amazing woman who will forever be remembered. She always had an open door to everyone. A great sense of humour,& a cup of tea always on the ready. I’ll never forget the day I was chatting with her in the kitchen,& a sheep-(Yes a sheep!)-came in to say hello…🐑 Rather than shoo it out,Betty just sat there,& gave it a good pat, before it walked out again..Helerious! RIP Betty…May god take good care of you. -|-

  2. Betty was my neighbour. She enjoyed my Great Dane resting on her knees in her kitchen while I made our coffees and cleaned her reading glasses. We had nothing in common and everything in common. We shed a few tears together over the years. Usually involving our animals but her sense of humour had us both in stitches a thousand times over. I miss those times. We’d have outrageous discussions re the state of the nation one minute before moving on to discuss our flower gardens the next or when the ants were out was it going to rain. You will be remembered Betty. RIP.

  3. So sad to hear of the passing of my great friend Toms mum, as I knew her as Mrs Brown. I would often call by on my paper round to watch Batman, and Mrs Brown would always offer me a cuppa and something to eat, such was her generous nature, and over the years I have never forgotten her kindness, her unconditional love of animals, including possums etc.
I was a kid in primary school when I first knew Mrs Brown, I’m 63 now, and have never forgotten the smiles that would greet me and the way you made me feel so welcome
    An amazing person
    Rest In Peace Mrs Brown,
Condolences to my great mate Tom, Pip, Ken and Doug
