Poppy duck, you are a one of a kind with a heart of gold and a smile that can brighten anyone’s day, you’d always be the first to put your hand up to baby sit us you loved and cherished mum dad and us kids you’d go out of your way to make sure we were happy and had what we needed, time then came for us to step up and look after you despite everything you fought threw you still kept a brave face and assured everyone that it would be ok.

It breaks my heart that your no longer with us but I know you put on a hell of a battle and fought the best you could’ve I’m proud of you and miss you so much may you rest in piece poppy duck

Poppy duc, you always knew how to light up a room. You will be dearly missed by all of us.

Poppy duck,

Coming to terms that you’re no longer with us is very hard to accept.
I’ll miss our talks, your laughs and they way your face would light up everytime we spoke about nan.
I promise you that your legacy and your stubbornness will live on with each and everyone us.

Of everything you have accomplished in your lifetime
I will always be thankful that you gave mum 2 sisters and us 2 aunties.

And mum if you’re reading this I just want to say thank you for taking that leap of faith and finding your dad because if you didn’t then none of the memories us kids got to share and create with poppy duck would be possible.

Don (duc) my father in law a fella with love and happiness alway there to offer a hand and did many times you welcomed me in to your family without any hesitation and if only for a short 18 years I couldn’t have asked for better you made me laugh and all the grandchildren and your daughter Sharon all the memories that are left behind will remain in our hearts and follow us threw our life’s I’m saddened I couldn’t spend more years doing more things together may you rest in peace and I will keep my promise you asked me for
