CAMPBELL – Peter William

Born on February 23, 1940. Passed away May 2, 2021.

Passed away peacefully at home in Traralgon on May 2nd 2021 surrounded by his loving family.
Aged 81 years
Dearly loved husband of Carol.
Much loved father of Debbie, Darren, Cindee and Kym.
Adored Poppy to 18 grand and 7 great grandchildren.

God saw he was getting tired

And a cure was not to be.

So he put his arms around him

And whispered come with me.

 

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,

And saw him fade away.

Although we loved him dearly,

we could not make him stay.

 

A golden heart stopped beating.

Hard working hands put to rest,

God broke our hearts to prove to us

He only takes the best.

Funeral Notice

The funeral service and committal for cremation for Mr Peter Campbell will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, 57 Bridle Road, Morwell on Friday ( May 7th 2021) at 2.30pm.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army will be appreciated. Envelopes available at the service.

    There are certain people who make the world a better place just by being in it, you Peter are one of those people, a strong friendship doesn’t need daily conversation or being together, true friends never part they are always in your heart, the greatest gift of life is friendship and I have received that, I love you my friend, there are no goodbyes for us, you will always be in my heart, it see you later my friend 💙💙
