Tributes
  1. Deepest sympathies to the Cheffers family on the passing of Marlene.
A truly lovely lady who entertained me with plenty of laughs and stories during the years we worked together. Plenty of banter during the Newb v Yinnar football matches with Marlene loving watching her boys play and reporting of their efforts on a Monday morning. I have very fond memories of our time working at Newborough together. Marlene, you were like a “mum on the job” to me. Happy to listen and give advice when needed, teaching me the ropes and mentoring me into your role. You were the kindest of souls, always putting everyone before yourself. It was a privilege to know you, work with you and call you my friend. Treasured memories always. Rest in peace Marlene and thank you for just being you xx
