You showed me and taught me so much.
The way you and your family let me be a part of your life, I am forever grateful.
I will never forget all the wonderful times we had together, from the farm to the family get togethers, especially our early morning Christmas beer.
You played such an important part in my life, and that is something I will never forget. I will remember you always, Now, and forever.

  6. CLOSE THE GATE
For this one farmer the worries are over, lie down and rest your head,
Your time has been and struggles enough, put the tractor in the shed.
Years were not easy, so put
away your tools and sleep in peace. The fences have all been mended.
You raised a fine family, worked the land well and always followed the sun.
Hang up your shovel inside of the barn; your work here on earth is done.
The sun is setting, the cattle are all bedded.
Wash off your work boots in the puddle left by the rain one final time.
Take off your gloves and put them down, no more sweat and worry for you now.
Your labor is done, your home now is heaven; no more must you wait,
Your legacy lives on, your love of the land, and we will close the gate.
    (Nancy Kraayenhof)

  7. Deeply sad we have lost the head of the Conway family, such a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to many has departed us.
Pa, I don’t know if I have ever met someone as hard working or dedicated to their wife and family, or as hilarious.

You somehow always made us feel loved and special from the other side of the Nullarbor and we will never forget your tricks ! (I will forever be afraid of stuffed gorillas and always look for doughnuts on the end of my fishing Rod ) we will miss you always Pa,Ron. I hope you’re still terrifying cows somewhere 🌈 🌾 🐄 ❤️

Ron you always had a twinkle in your eye and an infectious sense of humour. Bev will miss you so much as you were joined at the hip. Sleep peacefully now all your hard work is done xxx
