Condolences to the Hall family on the passing of Alister. He was a lovely gentleman who despite many challenges in his life will be remembered by me for having a sense of humor and a determination to keep on doing the best for his family. He has left us all with many wonderful memoriesl

We will always fondly remember him as a gatherer of news, finder of lost things and legendary joke teller.

My memories of the Hall family go back to 1950.They were our neighbors. My stepfather was Jones .They were very good, hard working family. When Allister was struck down with Polio a lot of adjustment was required and Allister never used it as an excuse. May he rest in peace.

A highly regarded neighbour of around 50 years who always had an historically humerous story to put a smile on your face every time you bumped into him.. Sincere condolences to Gladys, Jeanette, Max, Valerie, Ian and their families. He was a true gentleman who took his life difficulties in his stride without ever complaining. David and Julie O’Brien
