Through talks with Andrea, I know she cared for him deeply. Every conversation was adored and every moment was cherished. May your hearts fill with warmth remembering a great man.

Our sincere sympathy to Colleen, Rosie, Hannah, Andrea, Nick, Sophie & Oliver on the passing of your dearly loved Dad & Grandpa. Charlie & Loris (dec) were much loved friends for over 50 years. Our friendship from days in Apex at Wangaratta in the 70’s. Many fond memories of times shared with our families over the decades. Resting peacefully. A very sad time to learn of the passing of Charlie. He was born on the same day, different year. We worked together at the Dandenong. Branch of the National Bank back in 1964/5. Last time we spoke was about 2 weeks ago. Sincere sympathy to his family whom he spoke so proudly of. He will now be together with Loris. I have one of his walking sticks!!! God bless. Through his Cameo appearances in our meetings and catch ups we got to know Charlie. It was clear that he loved his family fiercely and they loved him equally as much.

We are so sorry to hear of the devastating loss of Charlie, and we are thinking of you all at this very difficult time. Although we maybe 10,000 miles away in the UK, we will miss Charlie very much, (as we did before with Loris) and will treasure the time we have spent with all of you with our visits to Australia, and yours to the UK. The distance may be large, but you are all in our thoughts, and we will miss not seeing Charlie, enjoying his friendship, generosity, and humour when we are able to visit again. Time will pass but our memories will remain.

Charlie was always such a wealth of knowledge and full of smiles, he had so much pride in Andrea, Sophie, Ollie & Nick. What a beautiful family you all are and such dedication to your lovely Dad, you have been his rock, I have no doubt your Mum will be proud of you Andrea, you are one “special” daughter.
