Norm & Rhonda MetherWith love to you all as you go through thIs sad time, but what a blessing Mary has been with you this long.
July 6, 2023Mary we loved dropping in on you on our walks around the farm. Hux and I would drop in for a chat. Or the kids would run down for eggs or with cakes they had made. We are so lucky to have spent so much time with you – you were brilliant for conversation and always had something amazing to chat about that would have me asking questions for ages. We are so very lucky to have had you so near and dear to us for so long.
July 6, 2023My very favourite Auntie. I hope you are catching up with Janice and your brothers. RIP
July 6, 2023It was an absolute pleasure to have known Mary (grumpy) and call her a very dear friend . Our lasting memories of her is a beautiful lady who loved all of gods creatures great and small, her family, and a good game of scrabble. She had a wicked sense of humour who also enjoyed a good practical joke. What a wonderful life well lived. Rest peacefully Mary . Sending all our love to all of her family. Red and Judy

There is nothing I couldn’t, wouldn’t or didn’t tell her (admittedly not until after age 40)
I don’t think I will ever stop listing things in my head to tell her, or sense checking if she needs anything when I go to see her.
We would talk about Jan a lot. Mostly about how unfair it is that Jan didn’t get to see Jade and Luke grow into the admirable adults they are (or, maybe she did…) and the beautiful families they have created.
Jan would have had such fun with those kids. Mum missed Jan dearly.
Mum wanted to remain motivated, active, current-affair-educated, and interested, but physically and mentally it had become so hard and so tiring. But, she laughed genuinely and often, right to the end, no one will ever be as good an audience as Mum.
Her nearly 95 year old heart and body had run a long and good race, and at last gave her a calm and painless, passing. Blissful, perfect peace.
I love you with all my heart and will think of you every day for the rest of my life Mum.
I’ll be ok, we’ll be ok.Condolences to Colin, Kay and all the family.
Mary was such a lovely lady and Frances Colbert (my Nan, Trevor’s Mum) thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent together.
Sending our love at this sad time.

July 11, 2023My heartfelt condolences to the Hams family & to all her friends who had the privilege to know this beautiful lady. I had only met Mary a handful of times but was enough to know she was a warm, witty & a non judgmental person. She seen the best in everyone & her smile & laughter was infectious. I will forever be grateful that she accepted me as Tom’s wife & made me always feel welcome in her home where she was an amazing host with her wonderful cooking.
