You were always such a happy, upbeat and positive Uncle and you were always telling jokes whenever we spoke to you from the other side of the world.
So glad myself, Lee, Carley & Marcus got to visit you in Australia and loved it when you took me to see kangaroos in the wild.
You and your sister, Patricia, (my mum) were so close which was lovely especially after what you had both been through as children being evacuated.
Me and mum loved FT you and Carole, it was entertaining to say the least!!
Uncle Peter, you’ll be greatly missed by your UK family.
Rest in peace.
Niece Anita, Lee & familyDear Carole and family,

We worked together on Melbournes Trains & Trams, we played golf often, you usually won but then you always did the scoring. We shared many dinner partys at each others homes. Your friendship was invaluable & you will be sadly missed, but the happy memories will stay. Your good friend Doug Law.
June 6, 2021Dear Pete you were the first person I met at ABB from that moment on you became a really good friend and support, not only at work but at home due to your infectious smile and fantastic nature. June 9, 2021Pete, one of the more cherished memories of my childhood was heading off to cricket with you and my bicycle in the back of the wagon. While you played cricket I’d occupy myself on the cycling track and around the oval. That was 1974!
Humour was ever-present, nothing was ever too much trouble for you and you were was always around to chat to or lend a hand.
I was gutted to learn of your passing and i send every best wish to Carole, Rebecca, Matthew and extended family at this sad time.

Peter was helpful as the unofficial, voluntary caretaker of the school. It was so good to have warm classrooms in the morning. Thinking of you all.
Lynette TaylorThinking of you all at this sad time Carol, Rebecca, Mike, Cam, Pat and Charlotte. Lots of love, Kate & Peter xx
June 10, 2021My deepest sympathy to Carole and family. Peter was like a guardian angel to me when I worked at Yinnar South. He watched out for me when I worked alone in the school and often provided me a treat that Carole had made. Peter would always help me in any way he could and many times did maintenance jobs for me and other staff members. I have many cherished memories of Peter, his warmth and friendship. Always ready to give a hug and have a chat whenever our paths crossed.
