Born on February 28, 1940. Passed away February 25, 2022.

Passed away peacefully at Latrobe Regional Hospital on Friday 25th of February 2022, aged 81 years.
Loving husband of Barbara. Loved father and father-in-law of Julie, David and Natalie, Louise and Ged.
Loved Grandad of Karina, Jayden, Tegan, Aaron, Liam, Rachael, Ryan.
Great Grandad of Declan, Alexandra, Jordan, Layla

 

A loving father,

so good and kind,

Loved by those he left behind,

Silent thoughts bring many a tear,

for a father we miss and loved so dear.

The Funeral of Mr. Derek Hinde will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Highway, Traralgon on FRIDAY (March 4, 2022) commencing at 10.30 am.

At the conclusion of the Service the Funeral will leave for the Traralgon Cemetery, Gippsland Memorial Park.

Derek's funeral will also be live streamed.

  1. In loving memory of Derek. I can remember the day he and Barbara arrived in Yallourn. Since then there have been many happy family times shared together. Derek was also readily available if I somehow dinged the car. Derek was a gentleman and a family man and will be sadly missed

  2. So sad to hear. Deepest condolences to Barbara, Dave, Jules and Lou, and all the huge clan he leaves behind. Knew him for 50 years. He was a loving father and grandfather, always so proud of his family and with a wicked sense of humour and an infectious laugh. Sadly missed.
