Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday 23 May 2024.
Aged 96 years.
Loved and loving husband of Enid (dec.)
Loved and respected father of Ken, Sue, Steve, Geoff and Daryl and their partners.
Cherished and admired Pop of seven grandchildren.
Poppy Max to his 12 great grandchildren.

You were someone special,
Someone good and true,
You will never be forgotten,
We thought the world of you.

We will miss you, so sleep peacefully.

The Funeral of Mr Harold Maxwell "Max" Hunt will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Highway, Traralgon on THURSDAY (May 30, 2024) commencing at 1.00 pm.

At the conclusion of the Service the Funeral will leave for the Traralgon Cemetery, Gippsland Memorial Park.

Max's service will also be livestreamed.

  1. To dear Max you have been such a good brother for so many years. Even though you tried (but it didn’t work) you put me in a Billy cart and you said “you’re going in the water”. It didn’t work!
    To Sue and her 4 brothers, have a happy life, Max is happy now he’ll be with Enid.
    Sorry we can’t be with you all today, but we love you all.

    My memory of the camping trips and day trips I was very lucky to go on with Max are very fond memories.

  3. We have many lovely memories of Uncle Max and the times spent visiting him, Aunty Enid, and all the Hunt kids in our younger days. We are sad to say goodbye to the last remaining link with that generation of the family. A life well lived and a rest earned. Love and sympathy to Sue, Ken, Steven, Geoff and Daryl., from cousins Barbara and Rhonda and our families.
