Amar Jassal passed away peacefully at Maryvale Private Hospital surrounded by family on Saturday morning, 15 July 2023 aged 95.

Much loved dad to Biri, Surinder and Daljit, Father-in-Law to Sue, Costa and Shashi.

Proud Grand Father to Gurdeep, Sara, Lachlan, Aman, and Jaspal.

Your love, kindness and special memories will stay with us forever.

  8. My dearest Bhaiji, so many beautiful memories with you of Seremban and 331B. As the elder brother, you would take us to the cinema and ensured we enjoyed the afternoon, ate ice cream and had fun, something rare in those days of the 50’s in Malaya. And even in the last decade, we would speak so regularly between Australia and Malaysia and how much I enjoyed that. And now, I bid you farewell my dear Bhaiji. May Waheguruji bless you. Sorry I cannot be at your funeral today. And to our dear Amar Mama, rest in peace dear Mamaji. Your sister Karam, niece Jessy, nephews Avin, Gobind and family in Malaysia.
