JENNINGS, June Mitchell (née Martin)

To Robyn and family, I am saddened to hear of June’s passing. I have good memories of my time at Moe Co-op and working with June as well as seeing George on his regular visits to the back store. My memory of June is a wonderful and caring lady who was always genuinely interested in how we were going. I also remember the last time I seen her when you were in Warragul last year and she recognised me straight away and had a brief chat.

Rest in peace Nanna , I shall remember all the times feeding hay , taking you driving in the old Morris truck and picking mushrooms , they made you strong and tough . I was pleased you were able to know and love my daughter Tiffany , you were certainly a favourite of hers as you’d swiftly disappear on walks together , the choppers I lent you safely stowed behind your door for many years . You loved the sun , all creatures and nature , but especially disliked the cold wind , I shall never forget you . I’m glad I saw you just the other day , your last words to me , ” here , I’ll let you out the door , I know the code , I won’t be held prisoner” you were as sharp as a tack till you departed. May the sun shine bright wherever you be and nary a cold wind shall blow ✨️ R.I.P. always and forever ,Matty & Tiff

A lovely lady, who was so proud of her family and their many achievements.

She happily shared her knowledge of plants, my garden has many of her bulbs. A constant reminder of a true lady.
