March 17, 2022
Truely sorry for your loss,
Lola and Tom. xxHeather was one of the first people I met when I began working at the WTO in 2013. As a fellow Australian, it was such a delight to meet Heather and enjoy her warm and witty sense of humor and her characteristics kindness. She was at various times an enormous help to me as I settled into a new job and a new city, and I am deeply grateful for having known her. My deepest condolences to her family on this tragic loss, taken far too soon.
March 18, 2022Heather was a light in our lives with her ebullient Ozzie sense of humour. Great gal.
March 18, 2022For sure she will bring joy wherever she will land! I keep her smile and jokes in my mind. My colleagues of GATT/WTO Development Division, Gary Sampson years, will not forget her ever bright smile, her remarks about Australia having the most beautiful beaches (tough for a Brazilian like me) and her “Be careful wombats on sight. Rest in peace, Heather
March 18, 2022Gone too soon. Heather was a lovely person to work with at the WTO in Geneva. Always smiling, very friendly, overall great colleague. So sorry to hear of her passing and sending her family condolences from the other side of the world. Bon courage.
March 18, 2022I had the privilege to work closely with Heather and like other colleagues, I was shocked and devastated upon hearing about her passing. Heather was a very nice and sincere person. She was a good professional and dependable. She was full of life and an inspiration to many of those who came into contact with her I will miss her! May her soul rest in eternal peace.
March 18, 2022May your beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. I will forever treasure your kindness. You were a very caring colleague. RIP Heather
March 18, 2022Darling Heather, so sad to hear of your passing. I was lucky to meet Heather in Geneva in 1993 when as two expatriate Aussies we both took up jobs there. As we all know, Heather was a hoot. Always up for a laugh, always with a joke and a smile, always with time for everyone else. Always there. And now gone. Heather your Geneva family of friends is bereft as well. Miss you. XXX Peter

March 18, 2022You retired and I felt the loss of your irresistible smile and laugh. I will always remember you fondly. My heart goes out to those you cherished.
March 18, 2022It was truly a delight to get to know Heather. She always greeted people with a smile and a genuine enquiry as to their wellbeing. Her quirky Aussie humour never failed to get a laugh. I can honestly say that I never saw her in a bad mood. The world has lost one of its lights. May her spirit live on in those that she touched.

Susan and Peter LDear Heather, we lit candles yesterday to honour your memory, outside, by a lake, the sun was setting and there was a gentle breeze and the flame was strong and did not blow out, like you Heather, so strong and all we could see was your amazing smile and we remembered how you made us laugh! Rest in peace and keep smiling. Vanessa
March 18, 2022I was fortunate to work with Heather in HR for over 10 years. She was true, generous and caring. Always with a smile, always wanting us to have fun and surprising us. I still can’t believe this sad news. We will never forget you Heather ❤️ My deepest condolences to the family.

March 18, 2022Many years ago, Heather was the first person from the WTO to contact me regarding interning with the WTO. Such a friendly face and such a lovely interaction; Heather was my first introduction to the WTO and what a memorable one it was! Thanks for your kindness and warmth in those early days when I knew no one at the office! Can’t believe you are no more! Rest in peace and may the heavens welcome you with open arms
March 18, 2022Heather, you were one of a kind – a natural woman! I will always remember your generosity, your Aussie humour (when you were busy you were “flat out like a lizard drinking”), and your contagious laughter which could be heard ringing through the corridors at the office. Rest in peace, and sincere condolences to your family, to your nieces and nephews of whom you spoke with much pride and love!
March 19, 2022Ah mate, what did you have to leave so soon for!!!!! It was way too early as you always had so much life in you. I thoroughly enjoyed our couple of years sharing an office. We had a good laugh even through some of the dreadful times. My kids adored you. You used to tease them like hell and they used to laugh at your appalling French accent. I’m so sorry you left us when you did, but RIP my old mate!
March 19, 2022I have very fond memories of Heather during my time at the WTO in Geneva. She was a great colleague and friend to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her indomitable spirit and wicked sense of humour will be sorely missed. With deepest sympathy to her family and friends down under.

I have many memories of the good old Guiding days which Heather was involved with and was one of the leaders. Such a fun and inspirational woman.
I loved her love of life and ‘can do attitude’!
I loved hearing about her travels via Roma and was envious of her life living and working in Switzerland. Amazing!
Definitely gone too soon! RIP Heather!
My love and condolences to Roma and Linda and their families.Heather – thank you for being such a valued and loved friend for over 60 years. I didn’t want to leave you then just as I don’t want you to leave us now. Your smile and love of life will not be forgotten and you will be so very much missed.
