Passed away peacefully at Latrobe Regional Hospital on the 15th of November 2024 with his loving wife by his side.

Aged 71.

Loving Husband to Sue.

Loving Brother to Julie, Dianna and Bradley (dec).

Loved Dad to Suzy, Paul, Karyn and David .

Loved Father-in-law to Terry, Sara, Brad and Clare.

Adored Pop to Jermaine, Rebee, Paul, Robert, Tenille, Bryan, Ethan, Rowan, Ray, Austin, Keira, Britney, Darcy, Hayden and Jai.

Great-grandfather to Chase, Tyson, Ben and Frankie-May.

Brother-in-law to John and Sharon.

 

You were someone special, someone good and true, you will never be forgotten, we thought the world of you.

The Funeral Service and Committal for Cremation for Mr. Rodney Matthews will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral services chapel, 6 Ollerton Avenue, Moe on THURSDAY (November 28th, 2024) commencing at 11:00 am.

Rod's service will also be livestreamed.

  10. Awwww Sue and our extebded failies so so sorry for your loss. Rodney has been a great influence in all our lives…he’s been our family mc all my life, best friends with my brothers and father in law, beloved adopted son to my parents. No one was untouched by his strong ideals and his assertive nature.. He will be sadly missed by us all. Although i will mourn from afar my heart goes out to you all.
