Passed away peacefully at Margery Cole on Tuesday 12 December 2023. Aged 98 years.
Loved and loving husband of Dorothy (dec) and Yvonne Goodwin (dec.).
Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Carolyn & David, Graham & Cathy, Ian & Glenda, Allan & Trish and Steven & Heidi.
Cherished Pa to all his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
George was a respected member of his local community.
A wonderful person so loving and kind,

Funeral NoticeAt the conclusion of the Service the Funeral will leave for the Traralgon Cemetery, Gippsland Memorial Park.

December 19, 2023Condolences to the Mayze family, George was a good step Pa to me. I remember him teaching me how to beach fish and play indoor lawn bowls. He was a keen fishermen and a good role model. Rest peacefully with your loved ones Pa. Love Carlie xo.

When pa would come up to NSW we would go into Nowra have lunch. He was a kind caring person. Loved his fishing and making home brew. His ginger beer was nice. Rest in Peace George. 🙏
