  3. My dear friend and ‘adopted Gippsland mother’
I will miss you for all the small daily reasons: chats, cups of tea, your wisdom and recipes. But most of all I will miss your big heart; your love, compassion and watching out for me when Mum passed. Be at peace and free from pain. I love you and miss you. Myra

  4. Judy was a great friend, a most compassionate woman and a great community hearted person. Judy represented the Brass band family, locally and on a state level in many ways. She was a founding member of the Gippsland Band Group for over 25 plus years. and “camp Mum” to all. Morwell Citizens Band, later to become Latrobe City Band was where her expertise lay in the administrative side of the organisation.
A kind and loving person and will be missed by many. Rest in peace now Judy x x x x

  5. Our very first contact with an Australian, on the very first day of our arrival in Australia ! She took us from Melbourne Airport, to Churchill, with a coffee break at Bunyip petrol station. And from then on, for the next 40 years, have been our family ‘ aunty’ and best friend, until now, having been called home to the Lord. Although often in pain, she had always remained cheerful , strong, and caring .We will miss you very much, Judy,. Rest in peace.

  10. Max and I were very lucky to be neighbours for 12 years at Hazelwood of Judy and Ian. A visit or a chat with Judy was inspirational. Judy always directed our conversation about your news and concerns. She never had a complaint about her illness .Judy had a humbleness that is so rare .
I had Judy to thank for introducing me to Painting and Art. I will never forget our days together at the Morwell Art Group.

  16. I will never forget Judys Puffin prints stacked in a pile like pancakes, hot off the press. I knew Judy as a creative artist with a big heart for the arts and her fellow artists. I recall Judy sitting at her kitchen table carving lino blocks and laughing, discussing her studio dreams and creating soft sculptures. Judy’s beautiful garden is a reflection of her depth as a creative spirit, fine strong trees, and beautiful flowers represent her fundamental nature. Judy was a community orientated spirit who left containers of her wonderful chicken soup at my door when I was recovering from cancer. I am sad Judy has left us, she was an inspirational, generous, and fiercely independent woman. An inspiration, Judy rest in peace.

  18. We are sad to hear of Judy’s passing from this world. Although we haven’t been in touch for some time, we will always remember how welcome you made us feel when Lauren joined the Morwell Citizens’ Band many years ago. We will always remember your kind, caring nature, fabulous sense of humour and your beautiful smile. Never did you complain during your complex health issues, always soldiering on. Such tremendous organisational skills in your role as Secretary of the Band and a talented artist but most of all one very lovely lady. May you rest in eternal peace. Sincere condolences to all your family.
