I worked with Ty at the Latrobe Valley Express in 2004, when we both worked in the advertising department: Ty in the car section, me in the real estate one.
A gentle man with strong work ethics, a big heart and a permanent smile.

Reading the tributes to our Ty I’m not surprised to see that everyone saw him as we did. His strength and resilience during the enduring battle fought is such a tribute to him and to his immediate family who wrapped themselves around him and fought the battle along side with such strength and inspired good humour. Today I pay tribute to all of the Morsinks, Barnes and Tolsmas. You have served Ty so well. I hope the knowing brings you peace at this time of grief.
I also hope he passed the apple pie recipe on to one of you as I look forward to heading East and sharing some in his memory soon. Kx

I Admire Ty’s resilience, his humour he maintained, he turned his hand to Leggo & a master he became.

Ty, you were one in a million! Your energy and enthusiasm for life brought such joy to those around you. Our family was better with you in it and you made my cousin Hayley so happy.
I am so grateful to have had you as my cooking partner for the past 3.5 years as we worked through the many cooking challenges at the Churchill Neighbourhood Centre. Your presence had a massive positive impact on my life when I wasn’t in the best headspace.

We are very sad to hear that Ty has lost his courageous battle. I have known Ty since he was a young boy at primary school, he had an infectious smile that would light up a room. Through music in high school he became a family friend. Hayley, Jude, Alex, Betty, Theo and extended families we send all our love, an amazing young man gone too soon.

I did not know Ty all that well…tonly as a sweet little boy.His mum and Dad were valued, beloved friends when we were young and for whatever reasons our paths have gone different ways.What I di know from the wonderful tributes to this young man, (who I did follow his path from the sidelines) fought a hero’s battle. I also know, he would have had many wonderful qualities as his parents did and woyd have raised him to be the same.
