Jack & I joined the SEC the same day back in 1948 in Traralgon. He was never happy there & eventually left. We maintained a friendship for many years until I moved away in ’56. We did meet up a few times after that. His wife Marg was a lovely girl from Sale. Jack had one of the first Morris Minors, a soft top & it was always immaculate. My condolences to the family.

Commiserations to all his Family.Tony and I have many happy memories from our long association with Jack and Marg and members of the family. These were across business, sport and academia. Jack was always the most friendly of insurance agents with genuine interest in what was going on in our lives. Sincere condolences to all.

Sympathy to all the O’Brien family
Denise and Brian JollyTo all Jacks loved ones….What a great man was Jack O.Brien… He was my first boss at United Insurance, and was a caring and hardworking person to work with, and for, and I still remember the beautiful Marge so well. We were having babies at the same time. Jack did not ever change… A lot of history has been lost with these positive, honest people going on to their next lives together. A handsome couple together again..
July 13, 2023Sending my sympathy to Chris and Jack’s families and remembering having good yarns with Jack about many topics, repairing parts on his tow truck and catching up with him when he was able to be at church.
