Dear Paddy Such a character who was well respected and admired by all. A part of the TAFE teaching service and contributor to many a good time with music and song. Paddy joined the Moe Art Society for a time after he had recovered enough from his stroke, His contribution was admirable and we all enjoyed his company. Deepest sympathy from myself and my family. September 30, 2021One of the biggest influences in my musical career when I finished high school, then many years later a colleugue and mentor once again. An inspiration to so many lives in Gippsland and especially Latrobe Valley. Vale to a great man.
September 30, 2021My beautiful dad. We love you and miss you so much already.
September 30, 2021
Now back with your girl xxPaddy I remember your infectious grin, your cheeky ways (always getting the desired reaction from Netty), and your child-like joy with the world. I will never forget the scenic tour you took Jacinta and I on in that old Bedford. Up over Old Coach Rd at snail pace, with your tour-guide ‘microphone’ giving us a running commentary of somewhere we knew so well. That will always stay with me. I will also remember your passion for so many things, even if they were of no interest to you. It was such a joy to be able to introduce you to my son and for you two to have some time chatting together, and to have you remember me so well. I know you and Annette will be at rest now that you are together again. XX
September 30, 2021I am so saddened by this news. Paddy taught me (on rotation) clarinet, the Irish tin whistles and how to sing. I had many a laugh with Paddy, he emceed at both my brother’s 18th and my 30th birthday parties, even getting the most conservative adults up on the dancefloor, dressed up or having a dance. He is a true LV icon, music man and will be sadly missed. Reunited with Annette xo
September 30, 2021Condolences to Shauleen & Family.. The much respected Music man of Newborough…RIP young Paddy thank you for your contribution…

September 30, 2021Even though we never met Paddy, you left quite an impression and legacy, I’ve heard so much about you from your daughter Jacinta. She speaks of you with love and humour. We pray for our brother Paddy may he Rest In Peace.
Although we cannot be with you physically at the funeral we will be with you through our prayers and attend via live stream.
As our mother and our brother Paddy would wish we will pray the rosary in our homes on that day and support you and your spouses and grandchildren so you can attend your dads funeral. We believe as siblings that our way of showing love for our brother Paddy is to show love for all his children and their partners so they can be together for one another during this sad time. Our faith will be with you. May God raise you up on eagles wings and be your strength.
When covid is over we will wrap you in our loving arms.

October 8, 2021Thinking of my cousins Shauleen, Justin, Jacinta, Kathleen and Christopher and their families today saying goodbye to their Dad and our beautiful Uncle Paddy. I’ll always remember Uncle Paddy coming to see me and taking me to maccas to share some wise words when I was having a tough time in VCE, the stories he would share and the times he took Shannon and I fishing in Inverloch and especially how I proud I was when he would perform at school or in town and I could say “that’s my uncle” hoping he wouldn’t spot me in the crowd and make me do any Irish dancing. Uncle Paddy you were always willing to share your positivity, kindness, thirst for knowledge and musical talent with our world and have left a huge legacy in our family but also the Latrobe Valley Community. Rest in Peace. Reunited with Aunty Annette You will not be forgotten. Xxx
