I enjoyed seeing and talking to her as a legatee.Lovely lady who I played golf with in the early 1990’s. I had moved from Melbourne to teach in Morwell and played golf often with Elva on a Sunday and her kindness was much needed and appreciated. I met some family at Webb street on more than one occasion. Approximately 2006 I was in Peter Mac after an operation on a Melanoma and we were stunned to find we were in the same 4 bed ward, not having seen each other for over 10 years. I was thrilled to reconnect with her, by this time I had come back to Melbourne to live and had a family. Elva got to meet my husband and then 3 year old daughter in the Peter Mac ward! I am so happy she went on to have a long happy life.
