Passed away suddenly on August 31st 2023 at the Victorian Heart Hospital Clayton.

Aged 84 years

Devoted husband of Patricia for 58 years.

Much loved father and father in law of Louise and Damian, Steff and Mark, Anthony and Sharon, Jude and Julie, Andrew and Hannah.

Adored Opa to Charlie, Ivy, Simon, Rebecca, Marnie, Grady, Hannah, Harvey, Cleo, Hugo, Blair. Great Opa to Laylah, Marlia, Zane, Isla, Kobe.

Funeral Notice
Lumen Christi Catholic Church Williams Avenue, ChurchillView Map
Requiem Mass for the repose of the soul of Mr. Theodorus (Theo) van der Zalm will be offered at the Lumen Christi Catholic Church, Williams Avenue Churchill on WEDNESDAY (September 13, 2023) at 11.00 am.

At the conclusion of Mass the Funeral will leave for a private Cremation at the Traralgon Crematorium, Gippsland Memorial Park.

Rosary will be recited at Lumen Christi catholic church on Tuesday night commencing at 7.pm

  7. Theo, I have many keepsakes from your garden to mine.
    I have enjoyed an abundance of pumpkin soup from your vegetable garden. My house bears evidence of your little running repairs over the years. I gaze at No. 4 from my kitchen window and reflect on happy memories and hilarious moments. My love will always be with Pat and your children. Love Pam.
