Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday 15 September 2019 aged 72 years. Loving husband of Gill. Adored father of Bec and Shane, Matt and Amanda. Awesome Pop to Mitch, Bridie, Billy and Chelsea.

My Darling
Thankyou for our 49 years of marriage (we didn’t quite make 50). Thanks for two wonderful kids, who with the grandkids inherited your great sense of humour, which you displayed right till the end. Thanks for the fun times, our many travels and your support when I needed it. Mum was right – we were a team

The Funeral Service and Committal for Cremation for Mr. Rodney Whitmore will be held at Latrobe Valley Funeral Services Chapel, 260 Princes Highway Traralgon on FRIDAY (September 20, 2019) commencing at 11.00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cure brain Cancer Foundation would be appreciated, envelopes available at the service.

    Rodney was a very good friend of mine when we were young fellas . I met him at Morwell High School and we grew up together .His family and Wendy his sister set the ground works for our ethics and establishing fine family values . Gill you were a very special person who came into his life and made his life complete we are so happy you had such a complete life together with so many cherished memories and a beautiful family.
    I was so shocked to hear this very sad news and Margaret and I send our sincere condolences to you and your families . I am sure you will have such beautiful memories of such a great guy that will remain in your hearts forever . May he Rest In Peace .
